A-Arthur keeps ignoring me.
“Ignoring you? I’m not ignoring you…?”
((Tumblr, don’t you have been eatin’ my asks again.))
The tiny lad sniffs and rubs his eyes with his sleeve, “Bu, Arthur…Mister Germany’s scary…c-can I stay with you today?”
“Sure, Peter, of course you can!” he ruffled the boy’s already windswept hair. “You need a little break every once in a while anyway.”
The boy immediatly launches himself at England, wrapping his arms around the older man’s neck and crying. “Nnn!!”
Arthur pinwheeled his arms frantically to keep his balance and after righting himself he frowned at the boy. “At least give me some warning, could you?” Unable to keep a straight face at the sniffling boy, he cracked a smile a hoisted the child up onto his shoulders. “All right, let’s head home then.”
Peter sniffs and hugs tighter. “Really? A-and when we go home, can you show me your garden with the fairies? I-I wanna play with them. And can we have tea? The stuff you sent me tasted really bad. A-and can you tuck me in and read me stories?” he sniffed, burying his head into the crook of England’s neck “Pretty please, Arthur?”
The man chuckled. “Of course, Peter. You know I’d never pass up the opportunity for a cuppa.” He began to walk, adding bounce to his step to amuse the child on his shoulders.
Peter hugged tighter, and England noticed he was shaking. The boy made a whimpering noise, “s-stop…I don’t like getting bounced…”
“O-oh, I’m sorry,” he murmured, smoothing his steps as much as he could.
Peter sniffed, “C-cause it reminds me of how Germany bombs…a-and I don’t like it…”
“I see,” he muttered. Arthur hadn’t thought of that. Some guardian he was. “But you don’t have to worry about that right now, we’ll go to a nice safe house in the country!”
The child fidgeted into a move comfortable position and cuddled, “Will there be grass? A-and animals? And flowers? I like flowers, Arthur, but there aren’t any where I live. They all die real fast when I try to plant them.”
“Of course there will be! That’s basically what the country is! Plenty of room to run around and play.”
This makes Peter smile, “A-and,” he stuttered, “And I don’t ever haveta go back to fight Mister Germany ever again?”
((OOC: fjeilajfeidksflaewk i forgot to reply))
((‘Tis fine~))
At that, Arthur frowned. “I don’t know about that, Pete. It won’t be for a while though, I promise.”
